Ahhh, Marie Harper....truly knockout face and that wonderful Yorkshire
accent. I knew her well as she was Linzi Drew`s best girlfriend. She was
very bright too in a streetwise kind of way. For ages she dated, then lived,
with the movie actor Michael Medwin. She also liked her booze. I can
recall once thinking I had kind of seduced her at a party, even ended back
at my place (Christ, I thought, this is truly my lucky nite), but Marie was
wise to me and after several bottles of wine made her excuses and left
(and, naturally, being a gentleman, I paid her cab fare).
