I've been intrigued for a long time now having realised this trend . Its as if to be a porn star you have to look like one and to look like that means, big hair do, pumped lips, boob job, abs, and all the other cosmetic surgery required to look perfect while doing porn.

There is a strong link to the rock n roll mentality which has a similar look

The reality is a porn star fantasy made by those in it, not by the consumers who seem to be happy with natural as possible but done up nice with make up.

Most likely they will like the way they look because it looks far removed from the way they looked before

I don't find a ton of tattoos attractive but for many young women (and men) nowdays a ton of tats is the fashion. You only have to look at pop stars and footballers who are covered in tats. It's very common. In fifty years time people without tats will be weirdos.

The difference with a mask is that you can take it off. Even the fake boobs can be reversed without too much trouble if you have the cash. What I don't understand about tattoo obsessions is how they can't see that in 10 or 20 years' time they may feel totally differently but be stuck with tattoos too big to cover up or reverse. I don't even like the shirts I used to wear 10 years ago!

If a girl had hindsight to think that far ahead about her tattoos she may have also considered the ramifications of doing porn too and may decide (quite wisely) against doing it in the first place
