Sadly it is a changed world. Many occupations that 25-30 years ago were considered to be safe and sensible because in demand no longer are. In addition to the number crunchers those with long experience can be seen as more expensive to employ not valuable. I hope you find something soon at least as a stop-gap to pay the bills. As to the support given by the state to those who deserve it don't start me or my blood pressure will be off the scale.
Regarding content from private shoots I believe it should stay private whatever the legal position. I have content that once more so than now would be considered valuable but I would never share it behind the models back.
It is almost two years since my last shoot. As I've posted elsewhere on BGAFD a key factor is the lack of interested models. I think there are two factors in this. The first is private photographers / videographers lacking disposable income but the second is the girls not being able to trust keeping what should be a fun and lucrative way of earning some money private either now or in the future. Film negatives and taped video could not just be uploaded like jpeg and mp4 files.
