Of course no one wants to be on the receiving end of a bombing raid
but then the status quo isn't much better
Living in constant fear of persecution and torture from the baaft party isn't living
Anybody in IRAQ that would speak out in favour of the war ie Kurds or shites(Spelling?) wouldn't be around for long

Either they can 'take out' Sadaam individually using some of their much-vaunted technological superiority, and leave the populace alone, or leave it up to the Iraqis to decide when they've had enough of him. His paranoia is perfectly justified- if the army brass realise from the serious THREAT of force that he has to go, an 'accident' WILL happen........and those idiots like Chirac are buggering-up this plan, so that the US WILL have to go in...talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face !!
Either way, it's not enough to justify the mass murder of innocents in the name of 'freedom': he's no immediate or even potential threat to the US, unless of course this 'war' is really about oil-supplies.........which of course it is. And revenge.

The Allied forces should of finished the job in the last Gulf War, but could not cos they were only there to free Kuwait. Maybe it's right maybe it wrong...if nothing is done & say in a year Sadam does something we all regret who is going to turn round & say we "told you so!"
