Jon,
since my [previous reply, you will know that I did not answer the Great Q re Theresa May.
I assure you, dear Sir, that it was not out of gnorance, merely that it took time and research.
I have it on the greatest authority fron my sources in MI6,MI5 Charing X nick AND the FIS )Feline information service), that:
SHE DOES NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She employs a full-time dishwasher who does all that and more (he is callled in human terms, something I cannot pronounce never mind spell)
So much for her much vaunted domesticity. I am afraid that the lady USES a male!!!!

Did you really do a stretch in Walpole in the good ole US of A?
I bet that was harder than Maidstone or the Scrubs. You should write a book on it. I would be really interested in the experiences of a British cat in a US jail (or gaol as we Brits call them). Its not a morbid interest but as someone who has seen it from both sides I am interested in the way the US penal system compares to our own. They have open cells so no privacy but we have three people in a cell designed for one man. I wonder which is the worse.
And I am glad to hear that your owner (the esteemed Mr Marcus) did not put you in a cattery when he went abroad. Catteries are merely prisons for cats but I expect the food is nicer than in human HMPs.

Mr Magoo,
He was in MCCC Walpole in 1967 for stealing the Hoffman Cillection of modern Art. Big deal! it was a bunch of astrhetic crap anyway, but supposedly worth millions at the time
Only reason he was busted by FBI was a LAWYER!!
Turned him in when should have been intermerdiarry.
Walpole, then, was reserved for "Serious" crims as oppoosed the the normal State pen. It had "Death Row" wtc. HE was there because of the "enormity" of his crime!! and also because he was a wantewd crim in the UK at thre time
It was entirely diff from english nicks because it was litetrsally a little city/community of its own.
Apparently -so he tells me-he saw more violence/.blodshed there, than he ever experienced anyplace else - and he was in a special unit in the Brit army for 3 yrs.
Yes, they wewre single cells because they could not risk mlore.
Like he said, it was a Special plave.
On a lighter note, HE was the editor or the prison nespaper "The Mentor"
Every nick in the states has one and competition is enormous and serios
and apperently He is proud that he became thre editor (*able to put 3 words together) so there.

Hey Chairperson! I never doubted your owner. He is a decent cove for a human bean.
Seriously though Marcus. A book about your long fight with the establishment would be great. Not that I would take prison time as a source of entertainment. I remember how unpleasant it was the time I got kicked around in the backyard of West End Central before getting ghosted up the M1 to Clobber Castle aka HMP Leeds before swift transfer to HMP Durham due to fighting with a screw. I was found not guilty at court. Thankfully those days are behind me. I got a not guilty verdict by the way. But that was years ago and the nature of my crime was purely to defend my younger brother from a violent local twat who had set fire to my sisters shed.
