Halibut rule.....Though not to eat, obviously. We wouldn't want to eat Halibut would we?....Unless its a lady snacking on my Groin area.

Why is shell fish such a bugger to get into? If you have fresh prawns you got to unpeel them, crab you got to smash open with a hammer.

Used to love winkles...........but you always got bits of grit in them.

Squid: Used to cut up squid for a job...........black ink everywhere!!

Squid ink IS a delicacy in Italy where it is used to colour pasta ribbons (Tagliatelle) Once, I ran out of it and swear to God, I threw in a chunky permanent ink marker refill in and it did the job.

Until the late 19th century they were considered working-class food: I believe some apprentices rioted when their oyster ration was cut........
Taste like snot? Absolutely, but nowhere near as good.

Getting into shellfish is a lot easier than some of the packaging on pre-prpeared foods, I find........
