Thanks for your support on "amputee" humour Magoo. I was beginning to think I was on my own.
But back to the current subject of deletions. I'm puzzled too about some of the recent censorship on the other forum. I posted a comment that I was questioning my own sanity because some posts disappeared before I had chance to read them and was I beginning to hallucinate. But my post vanished and when I queried that, it too vanished. I don't think I was feeding a troll but I would like to know if I had been erring in some way.

Its more than likely that a troll post appeared and was deleted while you were not looking taking your post with it. It often happens but its best not to discuss it too much as we dont want to give the troll any reaction at all. If I said stupid posts relating to WWF or whatever that ridiculous yank wrestling is called you would understand the reason its best not to talk about it too much. Which still doesnt explain where mine went.

BTW Ace is a mate of mine. I wasnt taking sides on the amputee issue. I just play fair as much as I can and if that means disagreeing with a mate then so be it. Ace will understand. Hes a decent bloke but perhaps the black humour is lost on some people. I have a mate in the ambulance service and him and his crew are constantly laughing and making sick jokes about accident victims etc. Its not nice I agree but people do it. I didnt post in that thread despite the fact that I dislike Heather Mills. What pissed me off Mart was NOT the jibe about being sick, with only me mentioned from that thread (considering 2 others posted a joke) but the slur on 'our lot' and landmines. The British Army do NOT lay anti-personnel mines, and are at the forefront of any country clearing land mines from enemy countries that are callous enough to lay them in the first place. That is what caused my outburst. Go to ANY Armed Forces recruiting centre and listen to this first hand instead of on the forum. I hope this has cleared this up and we can continue to post like before.
