Program has one highlight for me ...... Zora Suleman. As for Kate, I've no complaints when she wears the shorts skirts but reckon it's just a tactic to distract viewers from her shite presenting capabilities!
As for Iain Lee, don't think he's good or bad, he's just there, like the rest of them, presenting this crap that I believe has already been given the chop, they're just keeping it on air until they come up with something better!
Hopefully Zora will then get a job presenting the BBC news at 6pm with Sophie ..... but we've been down that road before so I'll stop now!

Talking of dignity-casual workers stacking shelves in a supermarket for AUS10-00(before tax) an hour, grovelling for more than the alotted 20 hours a week allocated by the boss
Where as you go on TV for 3 months with the possibility of something more worthwhile and financially rewarding eventuating
You can stack shelves anyday of the week but advertising yourself on TV for free only happens once if your lucky

True, perhaps. But your example of casual workers owes more to socio-economics, and has little to do with the desperate lunge for superior 'celebrity' status that so depressingly preoccupies people these days (and that is the real prize in tripe like Big Brother). Talent Will Out, as they used to say, and most people who who acquire fame by default head straight back to obscurity with their dignity in tatters. Advertise yourself? As what?

Advertise....yourself...you are the product
A good example is a guy in the first big brother who was nothing but a typical aussie larrikin who was oh so popular
Scored himself a decent stint on Neighbours...the kind of money you need a good education to earn
No way in the world would he have got on that show without the Big Brother exposure
I agree that most go back to obscurity
IMO theres not much difference between Big Brother & any of the lame game shows going around. Both make the participants look like fools at some stage.Everbody is chasing one thing-money.Fame/Exposure can make you money if you've got the brains
Of course all the losers say they were in it for the life experience-bollocks
cheers

Iain Lee is a prime candidate for a late night shopping channel role, selling an automated tagnut remover. Fear not he won't be on mainstream TV for long.

I think he escaped from the 11 O'Clock Show actually (does anyone remember that?)
It was another C4 show where they kept changing the presenters in order to make it look "fresh", forgetting that the quality of the material was also important.
The show was sporadically funny, and the two best things to come out of it, Ricky Gervais and Sascha Baron Cohen (aka Ali G), have both gone on to greater things.
I once saw Iain Lee in the Virgin Megastore in London - no one asked him for his autograph, think that says it all really.
Still as bad as RI:SE can be (and the title of the show refers to what I get when I see Zora Suleman, the only highlight as far as I'm concerned), it's no where near as bad as "Boys and Girls" on Saturday nights .

Yes your quite correct. Boys & Girls is by far the most pathetic thing on TV. Its just terrible and not what you would expect from Channel Four.........Five maybe but not C4, whats going on? C4 have either lost the plot or I am getting old and sounding like my dad by moaning about tv all the time.
And that twat Vernon Kay is dreadfull. At least Iain Lee can be witty but Vernon is just boring. How he got on TV I will never know.

Venon Kay! (sounds like a Builders Merchants) he got on TV probably by being Loud and unfunny, that seems to be the way these day,s, bollocks to talent. I,m taking a sabatical whilst BB2 is on, as I,m prone to violent behaviour and mood swings every time I hear the intro music.
If I was producing it, I,d have a gattling gun and a good Harpoon kit set up in the doorway and as soon as the twats arrive, I,d be there to greet them!
that would make 'good' television (producers take note), a liberal sprinkling of sarin in the rooms wouldn,t go amiss either, or am I being a bit harsh.
Why cant we just have a programme with very attractive TV weather and news presenters, just getting pissed and chatting, hosted by Carol V. whats wrong with that?
