The Oliver Stone movie "JFK" was a brilliant mix of fact and speculation but is dismissed for one obvious reason-a reason that respected and legendary US anchorman Walter Cronkite brought up several years ago-If there was a conspiracy that supposedly involved several people, why didn't just ONE of those people step up and confess to minor or major involvement in the assasination? Someone that was on his deathbed seeking repentance (many that were "suspected" to have been involved are now dead, including Louisana mob boss Carlos Marcellos) would be the most likely candidate to come forward because immunity or lighter sentences would be a lot harder to come by when the crime was the killing of our beloved president. I'm certain it was Oswald all the way. As for the lovely Diane, come on friends, the driver was drunk doing 95 miles per hour in a tunnel-no conspiracy here. There are so many pointers to why it was NOT Oswald.

Why was he allowed by the US government to defect to Russia
(a very rare occurance) and give up his US passport, then allowed
back in the US, with no questions asked, and get a new passport
in 24 hours, with a Russian wife who was a daughter of a Russian
Major ? Maybe working for US intelligence ?

Why did a man who had worked for the US military in a secret job
in the Far East, have a mundane job stacking books on the day
of the killing, maybe he was told to get a job there, but ask no
questions as to why.

Why suspect Oswold when he was only an average shot. Very
difficult to hit a small moving target from an upstairs window.
And he did it three times. One bullet entered the FRONT of
Kennedys head.

Why did everyone hear 3 or 4 shots, but the police/FBI kept
stating there was only one or two.

Why did the Mafia (via Jack Ruby who was a well known mobster)
want him killed so much. To stop him talking and convincing people
he did not do it, or give pointers to who may have done it ?.

Only hours after the shooting, why did the police hold up the gun
in front of the worlds press, and say this was the gun used, and
Oswold was definately guilty. Surely this would prejidice the trial,
or did they know he was going to be killed. ?

Why was the wound leaving the BACK of Kennedys head covered
up in the autopsy pictures.

Strange that new president Johnson escalated the Vietnam war
only hours after the shooting, when Kennedy was trying to bring
it to a close and get the US out.

I think it was murder for the obvious reasons of pregnant; muslim etc etc.

On the night it happened, I was listening to Talk Sport and Mike Dicken was on. He broke the news. Some people phoned in from France saying they had witnessed the accident and had just stopped outside the tunnel. Several people all phoned in from the scene and said Diana was shaken and walking around the car.
This issue was raised a few times but nothing ever came of it.

I have that book by Anthony Summers.One of the best on the assassination.I`ve also read Jim Garrison`s and quite a few others aswell.There`s currently a series on the History Channel being shown again that was aired just 2 months ago.In all the time i`ve followed this case i believe this is what happened.There was 3 assassins hired and flown in from France.1 in the book depository 1 probably in the daltex building also behind and on a low floor and 1 on the knoll known as badgeman because he was dressed as a policeman.4 shots 3 hits 1 miss.The 1st shot came from the daltex and hit Kennedy in the back.The 2nd came from the depository and misses Kennedy and hits Connally(the 1st of 2 from the depository because the 1st one missed Kennedy) the 3rd is the fatal head shot from the knoll followed by the final shot from the depository which misses altogether and hits a road near the freeway chipping it causing injury to a bystander.The fatal shot was fired by Michel Sarti the fake policeman who appears in a photograph taken at the time of the shot.

When Bill Clinton came to power he asked his senior advisers two blunt questions.

1 Does alien life exist?, not counting Canadians (most Americans can't even find Canada on a map!!).

2 Who shot Kennedy?

I wonder if he got a straight answer?
