You quite often see lizards sitting on buffaloes, eating all those nasty mitey thingies that bother the poor ungulates so much............what altruistic reptiles you are.

They're adorable little things, sometimes they grow into bigger things. And, did you know, if you try to catch a baby lizard by the tail, the tail comes off? It grows again, naturally!

Varanus komodoensis, maximum recorded length 16 feet with tail, nasty pointy teeth, poisonous spit, even more poisonous disposition,, eats anything that'll fit into its trap (and several things, like big deer, that won't).
Every home should have one..........probably doesn't crap as much as a water-buffalo, on the plus side.

All the more reason for Lizard to get one, wouldn't you think? He's just pretending to be squeamish.
And how do you know so much about lizards? I'll be that what atracted you was the spelling of that horrible Latin name, wasn't it?

I have to say that, of all the noms de plume on this forum, yours is the best by far. I mean, Mutanthalibut is nice, Elton Dong and Caractacus are also imaginative, as are many others, but it takes a special kind of person to say to himself, "I know, I'll call myself Lizard, after a creepycrawly thing, something that scuttles about in the sun, snapping up flies and other insects." That's a sign of a man who is at peace with himself.
