I suppose there's two ways to judge this....which film is closest in look and style to the original comic book.....and simply which comic book film did you enjoy the most....

On both counts i'd have to say the two X-Men movies and Spiderman. And i'm in a definite minority here but I really liked the 3rd Batman movie "Returns".....ok Val Kilmer was no great shakes as B. but he did the job, Nicole Kidman was good and Tommmy Lee Jones and Jim Carey were brill as Two-Face and The Riddler.

Looking forward to the Hulk and League(with reservations....Sean C.'s speech impediment gets worse by the movie).

The films I most want to see made are Alan Moore's Watchmen and V For Vendetta....i've heard a lot of rumours and buzz about Watchmen and I heard the Warchowski brothers are interested in V For Vendetta......we shall see.......Oh and I heard the new solo outing for Elektra might be based on Frank Miller's Elektra Assassin.....the most complex, adult and impenetrable comic book i've ever read!!....so it probably won't be!_

Personally big fan of The Crow with Brandon Lee,Ichi The Killer and Blade
(thought he should have kept the afro!!)

And yes the Fantastic Four is dire, from what i understand the company that owned the rights had to make a film version within a set time or lose the rights so Roger Corman (gotta love that guy) banged out a REALLY shit film ...think its only available in Italy...or via yr mate at the local boot sale!!!

Not sure you meant this sort of thing...but the Peanuts TV episodes always seem to me to capture what Schulz was after...........

David (cunt) Hasselhoff took time out to make Nick Fury which was a marvel comic. Some bloke with an eyepatch and all these fancy gadgets etc. Again, dire is a word that I might use.
X-Men 3......................wanna know what happens? As an avid reader of these comics before I discovered Lovebirds and Playbirds in HK, Jean Grey who died in X-men 2 rises from the dead as ................Phoenix. Don't say I didn't warn ya!!!!!!!!!

Its not a spoiler to say X-Men 3 will have Phoenix considering Phoenix appears at the very end of X-Men 2. I don't see them bringing Phoenix into the story unless its to lead to Dark Phoenix as the main film baddie for X-Men 3 (unless of course they are saving that until X-Men 4 as there's no reason why they can't view X-Men as a long term franchise considering its popularity.

Hellboy created by Mike Mignolais coming soon, it's directed by the guy that did Blade 2, Guillermo del Toro (I think)
Ron Perlman is going to be titular character.

Apparently the next Batman is based on Frank Millers' Batman:Year One and it's being linked with director of Pi.

The ones I'd really like to see are

Preacher
Frank Millers Sin City
Barry Ween Boy Genius
Alien versus Predator (theres still mileage in this one I think)
