The Fly was a good example of a good re-make. Excellent 50's B-movie turned into an excellent box office smash.

Payback was (I think) a remake of the Lee Marvin flick Point Blank, if it's not then the team involved should be sued for plagarism.

It was definately a remake of Point Blank.
Here's one; The Italian Job. HTF did the Americans think they could remake this and get away with it!
Set in L.A from what I hear!....The Italian Job via LAX....slags.
