I remember being horrified by the Louise Jensen case at the time. The programme had a definite slant, but the thought of all those tanked up squaddies being allowed back into tourist areas like Agia Napa is truly scary.

Agreed Caractacus. Its only a matter of time before another macabre incident happens again. The Brigadier-in-Chief of Cyprus' Armed Forces should contain drinking levels with the squaddies. He is ultimately responsible for their actions.
A total ban for squaddies visiting tourist destinations would be a fair one IMO................and as you know, I am a squaddie (albeit, a 'sensible social drinker')
