The actual temperature in a kitchen on a 35+ day is actually 10 to 15 degrees higher

A great way to sweat out the impurities in your skin-kinda like a free sauna

Then you add on the fact that the working day is 14+ hours
(A British mate of mine was an NCO for a year in the Aussie Army-Cooking The Officers made the Pharaohs look benevolent)

Luckily for him he pulled a few strings and got an honorable discharge after a year-no more starch in the trousers-oh what a feeling...lol

For those scratching their heads, an NCO is a Non Commisioned Officer, or in other words, a REAL soldier before he gets made up to a WO1 and then promoted or 'commisioned' as an Officer.
