Your dad was clearly a sensible man. Children should not play with power tools. Especially these days where good typing skills are needed in most jobs. If a child loses his fingers doing DIY it can seriously affect his masturbation progress.
As for masturbation. I was 11 too but I didnt use a mag as my fertile imagination helped me develope a fantasy about my teacher Miss Horton.
