Part of the reason The Beatles dont sound so hot these days is
the Oasis / Beatles revival of the mid Nineties with the whole britpop thing
which got a little stale !
the fact that you like Queen more and find Duran Duran vid erotic says your
a big bender who really want his Back doors kicked in by Si LaBon !

the beatles and the stones did a lot to advance groups they did very few
covers after the first few albums before them nobody did there own
material as for queen what did they do? freddie was a great showman
i saw them at live aid and he made the day but as for the rest brian may
is a average player at best and roger taylor and the other one forget it.

queen??....better than the beatles? are you mad sir? you never saw lennon mccartney harrison or starr dressing up in ladies wear to promote a desperatly dodgy excuse for a pop record . i say you should donate your ears to somebody who will use them more wisely. i once saw brian may in toys are us. you wouldnt see john lennon in toys are us, get a grip man. next you'll be saying the deer hunter was a better film than weekend at bernies 2. i must go, the nurse is here to dust the pixies. toodlepip

john lennon is dead, so I do not think he would be in toyrs r us. If he was alive now he would be a burnt out drugy.
Thats another point, john lennon got shot. well in my books you do nnot shoot people you like. Has anyone shot a member on queen? No. Thus proves people liked queen.
Betales were just big heads, Look at Paul McCartney, he thinks he is god. He talks as if he is the greatest thing on earth.... Wake up.
Queen had fun and you can tell.
But...... I do like the one who read Thonas the tank enjine. It was one of the best shows on TV after Dangermouse.

Elton, these are some of the singles from ex-beatles (Scouse bastards) that got to the top of the pops, mate
McCartney.......Mull of Kintyre
Lennon............Imagine
Harrison...........My Sweet Lord
Starr................Photograph
Whilst in The Beatles (Scouse Bastards).....
Lennon/McCartney.............lots
Harrison.............................Something
Starr..................................Octupus's Garden (a b-side)
As much as I loathe these Scouse ponces, credit where its due. Im with Dave Wells, Stones through the 60's piss on The Beatles

Sure, the Stones had something during the 60's, but they are now a disgrace. As Neil Tennant once said of Pink Floyd (somewhat uncharitably) "They're like some overweight businessman waddling from stadium to stadium". Mick is bad joke and scary Keith was really only ever a danger to himself. Cabaret is too mild a word.

Queen's members all wrote number one's for Queen !
while still being in queen !
So both you and Dave Wells think 'Satanic majesty's request '
is a better album than Sgt Pepper ? ...eh ...haw...haw...haw !
Aftermath is ok but they really didnt make a great album of their own songs untill 'Beggers' ! and still not a patch on the KINKS (long as i gaze up)
By the way this is you Ace ....
