Like you I avoid whenever possible UK brewed lager. The taste rarely matches european brews. Purity laws? I had no idea,why the hell has our government not yet applied those to the UK. Are we to believe, the halfwitted duffers are so distracted with restrictions on the sale of vitamins, fox hunting, shape of bananas, blah blah blah, that they can't apply an existing law that would immediately improve a product consumed by probably half the electorate.
