I gave long held the view that religion (organised) is a form of brainwashing, but certain Islamic factions have developd it into a fine art that makes the Kanikaze, Assassins, Conquistadores etc. etc. look like naughty pranksters at a Sunday School picnic.

On a similar issue, I was appalled to see that the Apprentice Boys' March in Northern Ireland this week starts off with a service in the local Cathedral. As ever, it is the sanctimonious priesthood that is encouraging the killing.
