Ian Ogilvy had a great start with Witchfinder ....

and then just went on to sitcoms !

still he was better than Val wotsit as the saint

did you see the Van Dam film on this week ?
it was a slight remake of the Prisoner !

no never saw that one,i saw the charley varrick last night went to bed about 2.30 saw the last bit of 2 minute warning,yes ian was in a few horror films:the sorcerer with karloff he played a killer if it comes on again its worth watching

yrs ago on ch 4 wen i taped the horror seasons,never saw the van damme 1 though

i liked these yrs ago wen ch 4 were showing them,after midnight they would show early karloff films too.

steve, just in case you do not know Ian Bannen is actually dead, he died in a car crash in 1999, one of my favourite actors of all time it has to be said, one of the few actors who could pull off roles such as a menacing nasty and then a loveable rogue in his very next film, definately one of the best Scottish actors of all time.
