How could a German outsmart a German team-they all think alike-defend defend defend

Time for one of those high profile Scottish Managers(Ferguson,Souness,Strachan) to take a risk with their reputations.
What else has Ferguson got to prove at Man U-nothing
Souness has already won the league With Blackburn once
Strachan has Southhampton purring like a rolls royce

Surely one of them could make a better fist than a German Defender

Souness didn't win with Blackburn apart from promotion to Premiership. The managers that did win with Blackburn were Kenny Dalglish and the recently departed Ray Harford.

to be fair Ace, Deuce said the league, not the Premiership. Not sure who is being more pedantic here but having seen your assessment of the Arsenal players no show for the Lichenstein game thought I'd put my oar in!

...and Dalglish was certainly Scots: and Caledonians do seem to have had a disproportionately high degree of success in th English game, whether as players or coaching staff.......

Dalglish/Souness-both Scottish so my point still remains the same

All these highly successful Scottish Managers don't want the Job of
Scotlands Manager

Now why is that? Money? Reputations? Egos?
