Re: OK Bimmercat, we know you don't like him
Is it possible then to fish for flies?

Ease up man. You seem very touchy on the subject of conservation, your other posting seemed to assume we were attacking the US (yet again) but we were talking about the subject in general then more specifically Australia and NZ.
I knew things were tough in the States for a lot of people but I guess its against your principles to accept food stamps.

My sense of humour. Assuming you need to hunt because you cant afford to buy food.
I do take offense at your extreme depiction of anybody whose views don't accord with your own. God help the rest of the world.

What are your views on people who want to ban vivisection?. They never seem to offer themselves up as guinea-pigs do they.

I think your missing the point Bimmercat (although given that recreational fishing is hugely popular if left unmonitored then fish stocks will invariably dwindle)
Extinctions are due to 2 main problems
-introduced foreign species outcompeting the locals
-destruction of habitat through urban Sprawl
We've made the same stupid mistakes in Australia through ignorance.
Europeans that wanted to bring home with them-big mistake
If left unchecked the introduced dynamic duo of the European Carp and the Willow would more than likely make our River Systems even more toxic and fragile than they already are.
cheers
