They say if immigration keeps on as it is they'll need to build out from the shoreline to accomodate them

Why you would gravitate to an expensive cesspit like Sydney is beyond me

Most people that live there try and get as far out as possible 1/2 hours away

im in contact with someone from fru that emigrated to nz in 62 she recently told me that her rent works out to 100 eng pounds a week and the cost of living is high.

Depends how you make the comparisons steve56. I'm paying ?80 a week for a 2 bedroom house in Wellington (the capital city) and I've got the sea (with a little beach) directly across the road. Tell me where you can find the equivalent in London.

80 is what the going rate here is too/70 for 1 bedroom flat,you sound ok near the sea and beach.
