but hate the way the Media Circus tries to make it more than it is
Somebody said recently we the public are reaching World Cup overload
Just name the Sport and there will be a World Championship happening somewhere
I agree...it gets to a point where it has no 'Special' meaning
The sense of a great occasion is lost because its all year round
The recent World Cup for Soccer was just another tournament to me as you see the same players all year round playing in club & country football
Yet again the Less is more rings true
The only choice left once you reach melting point is to turn the TV off and stopp reading the Print Media
Make your own news by living...far more satisfying IMHO

I don't hate anything I just grow tired of it-apathetic would be a better description
I follow most Sports just out of general interest but I'm not the type to start talking about it unless its brought up in conversation. Then I'll share my thoughts on the topic at hand
Sports that I'm not particulary into would be
Gymnastics
Synchronsied Swimming
Croquet
Lawn Bowls

What about Beach Football, idiots all of 'em.
Same goes for American Football with all that padding. If they cannot advance 10 yards when they can throw forward there must something wrong with the game.
I can't understand what your lot see in Rules football. Enlighten me please.

All comes down to which side of your brain is dominant
Which would explain why I favor Sports over any of the performing Arts
What appeal anything?
It excites your mind
As we are all different different things appeal

whats fucked me off more than any of that is that i read earlier that the coach is odds on to get a knighthood for winning the world cup (rugby). ok fair enough - ish i dont agree with knighthoods and that shit really but fuck it. THEN it said Johnny Wilkinson was also odds on at the bookies to get a knighthood ....WHAT THE FUCK. A 24 year old rugby player ?! for doing what - "services to sport" fuck the fuck off

Any honors/titles should only bestowed on those that have served a particular cause for decades not minutes
They seem to give honors/titles away these days like you find toys in cereal boxes

I think that toys in cereal boxes are a "no-no" here in the UK just in case a little blighter decides to eat it and chokes.
