Well, yeah, having 100s of relatives helps.

Any holiday is great
I'm not into the meaning of christmas unlike some fanatics who seem to hibernate for 11 months of the year and then come painfully alive for a month before returning to hibernation in the new tear
I say be happy & party all year round
You don't need a religious reason to enjoy life

Not being much of a drinker and not being at all religous I really wouldn't miss christmas, or new year for that matter, same with st. patrick's day. People behave like its the one and only time of the year when you can get drunk.
I suppose xmas is more 'for the kids', but then there's always birthdays, do we really need to be bought presents all the time to make us feel good?
I like a good xmas dinner though: turkey, stuffing, bacon wrapped around sausages etc... now that I could put up with a bit more often.
