Re: Nice choices Steve
Punk music uplifts me everytime, as does some good rock and most classical. Its down to the listener, I have on The Red Hot Chili Peppers Greatest, and that is VERY uplifting. Iggy Pop's 'Lust For Life' is also a belter

Re: Nice choices Steve
hi ace, iggys version of china girl is better than bowies really, the passenger, success i played all the time on a c90 in 77 when i taped from fluffs show ,the lurkers from fulham were very underated i get fed up on fru saying how great the jam were thata a matter of opinion thought they ripped off the who/kinks/creation etc.
Re: Nice choices Steve
Well Stevie, The Jam WERE Mods in the punk era, so thats why they sounded like The Who and Kinks.
The Lurkers were excellent...........you got THAT right!! Go to The Kings Arms in Acton on January 31st, they are playing there. Im lucky enough to see them in Coventry on the 29th. WELL WORTH a few quid for a ticket!!
