id have to once again go for my all time fav song Cemetary Gates by Pantera ....its a direct tribute to Fade to Black by Metalica and both are PERFECT in terms of sad despairing sound. Cemetary Gates lyrically is my all time fav poem, its beautiful and incredibly well written. the first time i downloaded it i lost it for about 5 months found it in my music folder and played it and just adored the return to the verse at about 2:00 in. id like to kno what u lot think of the song if u have the time to download it as it really changed my taste in music literally in 5 minutes.

also i heard mad world when i saw donnie darko at the cinema like a lot of people i thought it was a cover but i thought it was a paul simon song because the first line was like "hello darkness my old friend" etc...anyway it pisses me off that ppl slate the original because in my humble opinion the song is superb because of its lyrics and they were almost wasted on the original but it annoys me thast ppl say TFF were shite because they were great writers. im done

Saw Bruce in 1988 on his Tunnel of Love Tour, and his intro for The River nearly made grown men cry.
Bruce is a touch arrogant, he was very genuine for many years, but flopping as a solo artist in comparrison as an established band grates him, hence his 'Reunions' with 'The E Street Band' to keep his accountant happy.
Still puts on a great live show all said and done

When The Clash were inducted to Rocks Hall of Fame earlier this year, it was touted that Springsteen would take on Joe Strummers place. I agreed that Bruce was worthy of the task, and was particually happy to see a storming version of London Calling with him and Elvis (Not THAT one) Costello.
