There was a much simpler solution Ace. You should have bought the dog from him, let it carry on with its customary behaviour and make him suffer just like you had.

The difference is the Cops make no distinction between people playing music that isn't overly loud but annoying your neighbour because they don't like it and the crash thump that you can hear 3 blocks away which is just plain anti-social

All the power is with the complainer at present
When you can complain and get the Cops to warn a group of people to turn of a stereo(which wasn't Loud) and stop singing(again not Loud) at 7.30pm on a saturday night with no proof I say the law has gone mad.The cops being undermanned warned that if they returned the stereo would be going with them....proof or no proof..........Nazis

I was once at a party where the cops came 3 times because of noise complaints.Not for the music but our voices...we weren't screaming or singing just talking...nothing happened....the cops would have looked a right bunch of idiots charging us with talking to loud but they had to appease the neighbours who were living at the other end of the gully
