No, the series I'm talking about is called "Hot Auctions". Series about so-called Home improvements may be of some relevance to NZ audiences if you are looking for crap ways in which to ruin your house but the series I'm referring to is about house auctions in Australia.
Do you have "Life style" bullshit too? Wtf does it mean? I object to some pretentious real estate agent pretending to know what my lifestyle is. Wankers.
There is another poncy idea that any property with more than (say) 1000 sq. ms. of land is a "Lifestyle block", so you can put 6 sheep and a couple of fruit trees on it and play at being a farmer. Oh, and of course you need a SUV with bullbars to complete the illusion of living in the wopwops.

It all started with Burkes Backyard and every successive show has used a similar format but with slight alterations

It seems looking at some of the titles that the producers Mother in law has
mentioned a topic she'd quite like to see on TV and hey presto its made
Shoestring budget that the morons lap up

The lifestyle programs which number in the double digits have become so predictable that theres a Comedy send up on SBS called Life support which really takes the mickey out of all of them

another review article about life support which is good for a laugh
