no, you credit some of them with too much intelligence. Jordan and Peter Andre could not act for two weeks solid. And as Jonny Rotten said last night: "This is Jonny. and its REAL!"
I have to laugh at all the posts I've read (not just on here), where people can't help but slag off the show. "Its so shit etc.."
..but still admit to watching it.

I'll admit here and now

I've seen the promo advert and haven't tuned in once even by accident while flicking channels

All my opinions are based on the promo or the best bits as it were

Who really cares. The Sex Pistols were simply a manufactured product by McLaren, the Cowell of his day.

Strange that Punk was supposed to do away with Heavy Metal and Prog Rock yet the biggest bands in the World include Metallica, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Radiohead, ColdPlay to name a few. Yes are still touring and Led Zepp still shift a few million CDs a year.

There was the odd good Punk tune but very little springs to mind.

Now I feel I am in for a small amount of abuse..............

totally agree with you there Heathray. Have got no time for punk whatsoever, my uncle and brother are both big punk fans and can't understand why I can't stand it.
I listen to the likes of Led Zep and Jimi Hendrix, no competition really is it?

Different Music for different moods

Just yesterday I demolished part of my concrete driveway whilst listening to The Clash & The Pistols(Thanks Ace)...The Lyrics alone are worth a listen....some of the smartest songs ever written.....kept me going in the 38 C heat

Until I'd listened to these albums in full I had this perception of these 2 groups as having nothing more than a couple of Hit singles

As for Led Zep - i donated all my CDs to a Led Zep Nut - far to obscure for my tastes - although Stairway to Heaven,Black Dog & Rock n Roll were classic rock songs

Never got into Jimi.....the man still deserves respect....anybody that gets the thumbs up from Eric Clapton had to have something going for him

cheers
