The way people treat me is my exact problem...e.g at a temping job in November the people were all talking and including me in their conv they said to me "the only way you or I are ever gonna have any real money is if we win the lottery" ....i was just like dumbfounded by the fact i was written off at 20yrs with no possibility of carving a decent life for myself and the fact I seemed to be on the scrap heap (the idea of wealth was neither here nor there just the small town attitude to life)....all very depressing- fucking norfolk people


rob - how come you didnt decide to do something you were interested in?

Why do you care what these people think?

I've had attitude from all walks of life

The rich,poor,stupid,over intelligient,beautiful etc and in the end the only way to deal with it is to respect yourself

They're the ones with the superiority complex

Life is too short to worry what other people think

I worked in a bingo hall checking bingo claims once alway got the shit microphone most of the time i had to shout the claim ref.numbers out, i explained to the boss about the problems with these microphones and he said yeah yeah i'll sort it out never did get sorted out,
got fed up of shouting the claims out that i changed jobs.

Also been a kitchen porter a few times but last time i did this job i can tell you that has to be one of the crapiest jobs you could ever have espically if you have a head chef who is a complete asshole and abuses his position and upsetting the staff and questioning there sexuality.

mini cabs they make their own prices up,still least you get to your destination from door to door,i got 1 back from earls court to queensway last summer and i was charged 12 ?.

All very well in theory, and for those endowed with self-esteem by the bucketload. And there is such a thing as bad luck......
But humans (and I use the word only in its theoretical sense) can be a nasty lot.

I won't disagree

When someone decides to give me a spray i don't feel anger towards them just pity.They're are obviously suffering and I just happen to be the release valve.

You can change what you control which in short is yourself and how you perceive things

Forget the bad or if you can't get even

I once relieved for 2 weeks at a bank branch which was in the grip of a
'I hate men campaign'

After holding my tongue for 2 days to the sexist bollocks and outright insults i thought how can I get even....i called in sick 3 days in a row
knowing that they were short staffed and this would be my only chance
of getting even

Come the next week they were still in the same mode so I did exactly the same thing

Then I put in an anonymous full report to the regional office as to their attitude and the they were transferred all over the place within a month

Sexism either way is a pain in the ass
and as i had no control had to resort to playing dirty pool
