Try the guidelines at which are used for films

This site about the obscene publications acts

They seem very vague and open to interpretation these acts

By the way I understand not all urination is fine
Human pissing on another human is out
Same goes for Scat(shitting) on each other

For mine as long as you keep well clear of child & animal sex sites
its unlikely even if you do accidently download something illegal you'll receive a visit.Unless they just happen to be monitoring that site
Highly unlikely given that there are reputably 750,000 sex sites out there

Rule of thumb.....if the act wouldn't get through Customs percoming into the UK then don't download it.

Whether a German film is legal or not in this country depends entirely on its content. Child and animal sex clearly are illegal. Scat or kaviar, as it is usually known in Germany, is very probably illegal. You also have to be careful with German films as German directors like the subject of incest (inzest). I am not too sure what the attitude of the authorities in the UK is to that. Perhaps someone else can advise please.

Well, I havnt read all the other replies but I do have some practical experience of this as the police confiscated my computer to examine it, and I took specialist legal advice.

The computer was returned to me unchanged and no action was taken against me.

All the police are interested in right now is kiddie porn. Anything else with consenting adults is of no interest to them.

I was advised that it is not a criminal offence to download adult porn but it is an offence to publish it. So you can subscribe to sites and download, but do not upload.

No. Downloading is obtaining material from the web for your own private viewing. That is not illegal.

Publishing is posting the images on a web site for others to view.

Thats why all the stuff you download is downloaded from sites based in countries where its legal to do so.

I think you would have difficulty using that argument with the authorities if you were found to have downloaded child pornography.
