JJ, I'm not suggesting for a moment that the threat of capital punishment would deter this type of offender...it won't, nothing will, they are by self admission beyond rehabilitation.
I was suggesting that killing him & his like would prevent any further offending & save the taxpayer thousands of wasted pounds providing them/him with a safe secure environment.
Dangerous animal/dog bites someone.....it's given a chance depending on the circumstance. Same dangerous animal reoffends......bye bye doggy!
If I'm not civilised & branded a Barbarian then tough on me! I can live with that. What label would you apply to these totally sane, cold, calculating predators? Because in my mind they certainly don't rate as civilised human beings & should be treated accordingly.

I'm not responsible for modern usage of the term: but I agree, the Barbarians were a mite better than a lot of those 'civilised' Romans.

but in reality , these people are mentally ill and if you are mentally ill and a danger to yourself or others you should be sectioned , this bloke said he would offend again and he did , so its the social services and the doctors that treated him that have let the public down , by wrongly accessing him .

This guy is not mentally ill. He has been examined by all the "experts" & pronounced thoroughly sane. He is totally rational, aware, calculating & evil. He is no danger to himself...just young boys. He enjoys what he does & sees it as unfortunate that he was caught.....any remorse?.....NONE.
I agree that yet again the public has been failed by "the system".
What should be done with these extremely dangerous people? Who serve no useful purpose within or on the edge of society.
No establishment currently exists for the incarceration of such creatures ......except maybe one! but then I'm a Barbarian!

do you really think the desire to sexualy abuse and or kill children happens in the minds of the thoroughly sane ?

A friend of mines' wife is a psychiatrist and she says while some of these offenders are just mad, others are totally sane and know fully well what they doing is wrong but simply dont care or have any feelings for others. This really creeps me out. If I accidently step on a kids toe, I feel like the biggest turd on earth for the rest of the day. Imagine doing far worse than that deliberately. Yeah, I think the death penalty is OK for special cases. " I'll pull the bladdy leva meself " as Cockney Wanker would say in VIZ.
