Never resist an opportunity to brag, eh?
All on the thin pretext of providing information in what was clearly an off-the-cuff leg-pull.....not worthy of you, old bean.
And isn't your apparent assumption that no-one else here has driven one a tad arrogant?
As it happens I haven't- but then I don't (yet) drive: that's what the chauffeur is for. And when I do buy a car I'll choose something a lot more comfortable and a little less 'penis-envy'.
Oh, and more than 12 inches off the ground, especially with all those SUVs and Humvees around. Being crushed to death doesn't really appeal.

You should remember JJ, Dibble comes from an era where 911,s were 'fanny magnets' a classless piece of crap, that screamed 'look! I,m a knobhead' but I,m too old to care, women were chained to the kitchen sink in full make up, and cinzano and lemonade was a cool drink, he is a peeler from the past! but he,s an affable chap, and it,s each to thier own.
Nice to know your buying a bus! care in the community and all that...

I have this image of Dibsy as Simon Dee, in a roll-neck pullover and those awful driving-gloves full of holes (I'd ask fer me money back, they're damaged goods), roaring off to catch a 707 to Cap d'Antibes to sip Martinis in the sunset ,before bouncing a couple of dolly-birds (paid for by the Company, natch) in a low-rent pension in Paris, before.......

The truth is finally out- Peter Sarstedt wrote that song for Dibble.

Hi all , I joined for another thread after lurking a bit , but couldn't resist this one .
The Porsche 911 was project number 901 , but Peugot already had that trademarked , so they upped the middle zero by 1 . Sure you are all grateful for knowing that . A 1974 Carrera is the best , the current water cooled well behaved car should be called 911-lite. (IMHO)

I meant Carly Simon, sorry- You're So Vain.
I don't know what I was thinking of, it's the cauliflowers, they're making that noise again, it's driving me mad, why can't they do it in the bathroom and then there won't be those nasty brown stains all over the duvet either, and my cleaning-lady won't call me a perverted parsnip-pincher anymore, and I can hold me head up at me Rehab clinic without all those Notting Hill types guffawing, and making docos about each other in the corner........

I didn't think it was likely that Dibble grew up on the back streets of Naples with a girl called Marie-Claire.

Still waiting for your mail- but it's OK, my patience is as boundless as my knowledge of several martial arts and various other methods of hurting people who don't mail me immediately. Oh, and your address.

No hurry....no hurry at all.
My knives and forceps need sharpening, anyway. That'll pass the time nicely until it's time to load the shotguns.

Whenever you get a mo.
Say, in about the next four minutes.
