There was a U.S based big hair rock group called W.A.S.P in the 80's.

never knew it stood for that,i only knew them vaguely i lost interest in the NWOHM bands in the mid 80s.

It probably wasn,t a wasp, it was more likely a flying chicken, there everywhere at the moment. Was it clucking as it came near?
