I thought he was calling me a twat.

Either way, I think twat's a bit harsh.

Must be that time of the month...

Oh, I don't know. Anything taking the piss out of the English can't be all bad.

"Maybe not such a bad idea, I take credit cards..."

Yes, I've seen your adverts in various leaflets that were blowing around Soho...

Naturally. Although I'm not as confident as some folk at work, who're virtually planning on where Sven should display the trophy.

I've long praised England's footer lads, and really enjoy watching them play (when they play well). I actually can't watch Scotland anymore (not that there's a reason to this summer), because I get too stressed. I dread to think what my heart rate gets to.

Thought Sven's boys played well against Croatia, but the defence looked a bit limp too often. I just hope those swarthy Portugeezers don't run rings around them. I reckon a 2-1 scoreline would be about right.

Good on yer!

It's about time Beckham and Owen played as well as they can, if they start to click and boy wonder Rooney (he's the new Pele isn't he, according to the tabloids) keeps knocking the goals in we could be bringing the trophy home!

So, 2-0 to Portugal then if previous England displays are anything to go by - thinking especially of that dreadful second half against 10-man Brazil in the World Cup.

Well, it's a quality side, so they may play better.

Are you getting decent coverage out in that foreign? Or do you have to find one of those "British Pubs" to watch it in, drinking "British Beer" like Stella?

I managed to see the France and Croatia games - both watched in Irish bars.

There is an 'english' bar over here, the Elephant & Castle, which serves fish and chips in newspaper and has a red telephone box outside, but they're not showing any of the footy.

Think it's similar to pubs back home who want to show Sky Sports - they have to fork out a fair few quid to show the games. Which is why the bars here are charging $20 to get in.

Won't be able to see the game today - the wife's left plenty of chores for me to do... - so I'll be listening on the net to Radio 5.

Come on England!

Well, with 4 mins of extra time so far, just be glad you don't have to watch it!
