I'm on Openworld as you know-ADSL-it's the future here, it's the norm in most countries. My old mate Ernie Taylor(remember him?) moved to Belgium three years ago & promptly contacted me with the news that he had the equivalent of ADSL. He was over the moon
The greatest block to our system here, is BT itself
I hate them
I've had more fights with them than one could reasonably expect-on my own behalf and that of some of my friends.
Example-Move home & they tell you that you have to "honour your contract" at the existing address!, meaning that you are now paying for a service at a residence you no longer occupy!
This is a company that spends millions on advertising to tell us what a great mob they are, and in the same breath prmomises shareholders that will reduce the corporate bebt to-wait for it-10Billion within a couple or three years!!
Anyone who has lived in America will tell you how utterly amazing this situation is
