hm well ive still got my first car, nearly had it a year. Its a MK3 golf driver 1995, in pearlescent blue :)

i love mk3 golfs as ive mentioned before and people always told me id never be able to afford one but its the best of all worlds to me, semi gti looks on the outside, completely gti on the inside and a nippy 1.8 engine....and in that colour, yum. still factory standard but kinda wanna personalise it a bit more but im guessing the good folk of this forum will be keen to put me off that.
id post one of my many pics if i knew how to do it but i think you have to host online right?
not that anyone cares....

cant see me not wanting to own a mk3, the VR6 2.8 would be the goal but its just far too expensive for a soon to be student 21 year old....unless neone wants to pay my insurance for me :)

RB, you've got to stop falling in love with every model you meet!

Are you still driving the red monster?

I was actually thinking of you togged up like a pimp, cruising Chicago in your Caddy.

Otherwise I'd have suggested a pink SMART car or something!

It's not EVERY model it's just ninety percent of them! It's not like I ever get anywhere with them anyway, I gave Sophie Moone the latest Anastacia cd AND the album before that (I had two copies of it, I'm not that besotted!) and got just a quick kiss and a firm handshake for my troubles!

As for cars, yes I still have that vastly expensive, ridiculous hobby. I wish I'd got into train sets or something as a kid, something cheap. Me and a mate have gone halves on a modded 348 GTB which we take to track days and stuff, it's not road legal. He's in the car biz so we got it for a steal. It's not one of their better models but this one is the bomb, it's as quick as a 355.

Is Al still at large or do I need to put a file in a cake for the poor sod?

The TR7. Everyone I know who has ever had one, ever been in one or known anyone who has had one have all said that they are crap. Opinion is certainly not divided on the TR7! Wasn't this the car that basically finished off Triumph?

Although not my first car, my worst car was a Peugeot 306. Failure of the brake master cylinder and then the sodding brake servo within a few weeks of eachother on a car that's done less than 50,000 miles is totally unacceptable. That put paid to my attempts at being grown-up and driving a "Sensible" car.

My first car? A right shitter of a Mazda 323. Cost me more to repair in a year than it did to buy. Best car? Honda Integra Type R. Sounded great, looked like a pimpmobile and the previous owner had left three grands' worth of what I believe young people call ICE in the boot. Quickest car: Subaru Impreza Turbo.

Now driving a pile o' shite Golf diesel.

That's what happens when you do eight grands' worth of damage to a Subaru.
