Cheers Jay but I'm not sure were the option to change these colour & contrast settings is.
I just get the bog standard quality control and that's it!

the ability to turn one cartridge on or off isnt something I have ever come across before but maybe someone else has

Left Click......Start/Settings/Control Panel/Printers/
Right Click on Epson/select properties which should then bring up about 6/7 categories....Main should include change Cartridge from color to black
as well as which level of print you want...super economy,economy etc
Always a good idea to go into Maintenance and do a Print Head Clean and Test Print when changing color(or after getting a refilled cartridge back and do a test print)

All comes down to which model using
Mines the bottom of the range Canon S100SP AUS76-00(30 pounds)
You wouldn't want your resume done on it unless you didn't want the job
or were applying to British Rail or The Royal Post.
