You're right Crofter, I mean a building would never shear off at an angle would it.
The company that handles the disposal of the rubble would never have been called Demolitions Inc would it.
The same company would not have been owned by Cheney would it?
The near by University that charted seismic data would never have reported 4 tremors would it. In case you don't know how the data is collated, it records "explosions" that are couple to the earth. but then what's the testimony of hugh ranking scientists after all, "You're either with us, or against us."

But back to my post which was on the Pentagon.
I didn't offer any answers to passengers wherabouts did I Crofter?
No, I simply asked questions and made statements based on visual facts.
In your omnipotent sagelike knowledge, perhaps you could look at my post one more time and answer the oh-so-obvious questions raised?

Perhaps you could tell me why an 800 pound 757 flying at 400mph+, flown by a novice didn't leave a single trench mark in the oh-so-plush lawn of the Pentagon?
Perhaps you know why the entry and exit hole was a neat circle?
Perhaps you know where all the debris went?
Perhaps you know why several near by hotels and firms had their CCTV footage confiscated and never shown to the public; unlike every other bit of WTC footage?
Perhaps you could also explain why the passport of Ata flew thru the planes fireball and out of the building and landed several blocks away intact?
Perhaps Pluto & Mickey were there waving it out and guiding it by the hand of old man Disney?

Conspiracy you say? Actually, I'm asking questions based on visual fact.

"You're either with us, or against us."
Not wrong there Dubya.

Most conspiracy theories turn out to be bollocks, for the simple reason that you're relying on too many people to keep their mouths shut and for normal human incompetence not to play a part.

plus major events tend to bring the attention seeking cranks out of the woodwork

And of course, time and energy spent focusing on conspiracy theories means people lose sight of what's happening in the here and now...

Isn't the world supposed to be controlled by giant lizards or something according to one theory? My favourite is the Ferrari/Eddie Irvine/Three Tyres conspiracy theory...classic!

It's REALLY boring if you don't like motor-racing but you did ask! It was the 1999 season and Ferrari with Schumacher were close to becoming the leading team in F1 again, the car was great, the team was united and Schumacher was awesome. At the British Grand Prix that year Schumacher crashed and broke his leg...he was going to be out for several races. Ferrari brought in Mika Salo as a temporary sub' for Schumacher and Eddie Irvine, their "Other" driver, was given the green light to go out and grab the World Championship title for himself and the Constructor's Title for the team, both would be their first honours for a LONG time...it was a BIG deal.

Irvine drove like a God and it was looking like the drought was going to be over, Ferrari would be kings of the world again and Irvine would be both World Champion and a legend.

With six races to go Irvine had an eight point lead over his nearest challenger, Mika Hakkinen, it was looking good...really good. This is where the conspiracy theorists come in...

Ferrari had invested serious money in bringing Michael Schumacher in and he was obviously their main driver over Irvine. Theorists claim that Irvine becoming champion and NOT Schumacher would be unbearable for the Ferrari hierarchy so they had to sabotage their own driver, fuck up his chances of winning the championship and leave the path clear for Schumacher to win it next year when Irvine's contract was up.

This is HONESTLY what a lot of people thought was going on despite the team being under HUGE pressure to deliver a World Champion for the first time since 1979.

Anyway at the European Grand Prix Irvine came in for a pit-stop and...horrors...the engineers "Lost" one of his wheels leaving him on the jacks for 28 seconds, an eternity in racing. When the wheel was found and he was back in the race he was effectively fucked and finished in seventh position.

Thus the conspiracy lovers decided Irvine had been sabotaged by his own team to save their blushes. It is the biggest load of bollocks I've ever heard and the truth is very ordinary. When he was coming into the pits he requested rain tyres then, almost instantly, requested dries instead. This threw the pit crew, under tremendous pressure anyway, into total confusion and somebody fucked up...it's as simple as that. No conspiracy, no evil team bosses....just an honest to God mistake.

Doesn't stop people going on about it though.

NOW...do you want to hear the story about Marc Almond/Rod Stewart/Prince?

"If he is using the word "lizards" in the Jon Ronson sense then I guess he means jews"

I would never do that as I abhor racism and am in part Jewish myself. I was referring to some far-fetched theory about a species of giant lizards in a secret bunker being in charge of all the world's major corporations. Honestly! I read this somewhere but, call me sceptical, didn't think it quite had the ring of truth about it!!
