Do you like speed cameras?
Do you think it is good for people to get fined, license endorsed and often insurance premiums increased for going a few mph over on a wide clear road? Do you think it right that speed limits (which should really be advisory), and in repsect of motorways and many A-roads are 25 years out of date, should be policed in such a dalekian way with no regard to road conditions or circumstance?

Thanks guys for all your replies.

Just to update, I emailed the relevant Devon & Cornwall Police dept.
Suprisingly I got a phone call within 30 mins.

As of yesterday, they were showing no more 'tickets' but still had my last 3 days to check.

Fingers crossed !!

They were very helpful (again suprisingly) and gave me the direct line to call back on Thursday.
