Maybe you are thinking of the parsley sauce that is traditionally served with eels. That has so much parsley that its bright green.

well, the ONLY liquors I can think of that are green are Creme de Menthe, Green Chatreause and the God-awful Midori the poncy 'must have' ingredient in poncy cocktails in the 80s........supposed to be Melon, but tasted like the colour of yesterdays piss it resembled

there's also a green aftershock, but i'm not sure that would actually qualify as a drink in any way shape or form

I like a good bangers and mash dish...hard to find in the states, but one English restaurant here does a decent job and they use good sausage. They also make a good shepherd's pie and traditional English fish and chips as well. Pint of Bass or Guinness on the side and I am happy.
Keep those mushy peas away from me though...thats disgusting.
