What's the difference between the mini-series and the series? Are you saying that the first has been followed by a longer second?

It was never a Mini-Series just a Long Premiere,3/4 hours depending on which country you reside in

I'll bet the 33 episodes of the series are no longer than an Hour each
40 minutes show/20 minutes adverts

cheers

OK then, it didn't beat Star Trek into submission. It just got ratings which were enough for UPN to cancel Enterprise, which had flopped around for four years. ;-)

I liked Enterprise, which improved greatly after the first two seasons, and I'll be sorry to see it go.

As for the new Dr Who, it can't be as bad as the new Captain Scarlet. Can it?

I quite liked the new CGI Scarlet.

There's good rumours and bad concerning the new Who. Good: fast-paced, horror-slanted, well written. Bad: played for laughs, too much irony, very self-concious. Fingers crossed they've got it right, but the BBC have messed it up in the past, and you wouldn't put it past them again.
