Once I'm over my current music & comedy over consumption
My past unlimited source of all things "Arty" has gone into hibernation with no forseeable return date so you never know

I agree with you about Nicole Kidman - I've enjoyed a lot of her movies that I thought I wouldn't. She's got a lot more talent than her ex-husband - and that's probably why he (Tommy Cruiser ?) wanted a divorce, couldn't handle the thought of a more talented wife. Another actor in the same category is Jim Carrey - but some of his movies are really good - Me Myself & Irene & Man on the Moon.
Al Pacino is always worth a look - and Robin Williams in his serious roles is better than I would have imagined in films like Insomnia & Photo Guy.
Bill Murray, Kevin Spaces and Scarlett Johannson also spring to mind.
Two young actresses that I think will reach the top are Jena Malone and Michelle Williams (not the one from Destiny's Child)
But actors who I dislike are Liam Nilson, Anthony Hopkins and virtually all actors who have portrayed James Bond. Also Morgan Freeman and Samual Jackson are so over exposed, they both call for the off switch these days.

Ken Stott, Christopher Ecclestone, Nicole Kidman, Edward Norton, Ray Winstone, Kevin Spacey, Liam Neeson, Johnny Depp, Steve Coogan to name a few that immeadiately spring to mind.

"Recently tho Paddy Considine shone in "Dead mans shoes" definitley a British actor to watch out for"
This guy was fucking out of this world in the brilliant "24 Hour Party People." He plays Rob Gretton the manager of Joy Division/New Order and is spookily close to the real thing. A monumentally great performance. Steve Coogan is also brilliant as Tony Wilson, in fact it's just an awesome piece of work all round.

Actors:
Alan Rickman (face it, he's a god), Tim Curry (From Rocky Horror to Legend to Congo, he's always good), Kiefer Sutherland (The Lost Boys, 24), John Lithgow (He's just so underrated).
Actresses: Annette O'Toole (great tits in Cat People, and she's still gorgeous), Beverly D'Angelo (Every time one of the National Lampoons Vacation films is on I watch it just for her), Scarlet Johansen.
