Thats the point...keep her off the roads then she can only run over pedestrians on the footpath

Mind you some of those Britain worst drivers have shown some absolute loons driving tractors & motorised wheelchairs down the M (name that route)

There was a slightly disturbing one near me a month or two back. A woman who couldn't board the last bus with her motorised buggy, and ended up tottering along a main road for about eight miles, with a long tail of disgruntled cars and lorries behind her.

Did I mishear the remark that the old guy with specs and a moustache had been a helicopter pilot?

No, you won't get that response from me. But I'm pissed off by those forumites who whinge about "the police having nothing better to do than stop motorists for speeding".

Yeah I'm with you on that one.
It's like trying to find justification for the fact that they commit a driving offence but it's so minor that the cops are bastards for busting them.

Whining bastards.

We all know the Highway Code blah blah so if you are going to break a law, shut up and deal with it.

From the good old days Caractacus

I sometimes wonder who really won the war and wether we were as bad as Hitler would have been when its took almost 4 decades of protests before society actually started to make things user friendly for the handicapped

All those old buses should have been scrapped eons ago...MONEY MONEY MONEY...where ever the votes are is where it will be found

The bus company was less than sympathetic---just kept rattling on about how its wheelchair and buggy enabled vehicles stopped running at six pm, and it was well advertised. No concerns about how frightened the woman was that her buggy's battery might conk out in the middle of nowhere.

It's a cruel world sometimes.

The companies line....like speaking to a Robot or an ATM machine

Privatisation & Outsourcing mean anything out of the ordinary can't be dealt with on a humane level because time is money...SIMPLE

Plenty of examples
