video downloads with licences - problem

I've read on a few relevant forums that there's some software out there called Blaze Media Encoder, that can crack DRM encryption & re-encode to any format!

I've checked on Limewire P2P & there is a free version up there with serial.

Quite worrying for anyone into DRM protection as its still early days yet & already crackable!!

I personally wouldn't pay for DRM encrypted product off a website, as it seems there would be trouble moving a porn collecton from pc to pod to disc etc, when hard drives get full or using an offline Pc. Maybe in the future there will be no choice in the matter but at the moment i cant see many porn punters liking or using this method. + the challege to the hackers will be the Holy Grail if porn gets encrypted.....

Firstly, i don't know what site your content is from but you shouldn't need to be online to view it. Usually you need to be online for a few seconds to get your licence and thats it.

Secondly, our system allows you to move your files to up to 3 PC's or back up onto CD/DVD... you will need to aquire your licence again though if playing on a different machine (again this takes a few seconds and your done).

Thirdly, we operate a flexible DRM system and don't impose time limits/number of plays or the need to be an active member. I was a surfer a few years ago and i always think like this still!

Finally, the old version of DRM was cracked a couple of years, but that was an old version, is rarely used now and was patched by Microsoft a few days later. If any software claims to crack DRM at present, your wasting your money as it doesn't work on todays version. Scroll down on the Blaze Media URL and see what peole say...
