most global stats indicate a third of visitors have 1024 screens and half, 800.
flash is surely the biggest waste of time on the net. it usually ends up being used for text and image displays that could just as easily be done with an old fashioned gif - and far more efficiently, too. the 'skip intro' syndrome also gives the lie to what a waste of time and resources it is.
