I was trying to insure my old banger, but as my no claims are used up on the wagon, and I can only drive one vehicle at a time they would not give me any discount for my car.
No it's not a ferrari, just an old merc I found on someones drive and got back to road worthy.
So after having twenty three years no claims, a clean liscence I still got stung.

I tried all the on line companies, of course as a member of the AA for the last 100 years there quote I could have used as a deposit for a brand new car.

One insurer said if I had my no claims on it It would cost 220 quid, but as my no claims was already in use they said it would be over ?700. fuck me how does that work out?

Anyway gone for the intallement payments, and settled at ?500.

My truck insurance covers me for all vehicles exept anything in my name, but now of course you have to have the car, insurance and log book in your name to tax it.
So if someone woild like to place an order for around 750 units of any Road Trip. my insurance will be covered.
