Too fucking right cocker. After the excellent Batman CD, I had VERY high expectations for Grafitti Bridge, but apart from 2 or 3 'good' tracks, the rest was dire.
Diamonds and Pearls etc was a return to form, but for me, the damage was done

"Rust never sleeps", piss poor for NY. I was fortunate to have a copy sent to me before it was released, and had high expectations, the only track I liked was "Hurricane" I,d still have his Martin collection though when he,s finished with them...
better to burn out than to fade...........

Your right...couple of worthy Hits and the rest a collection of B-Sides in the main.I gave them away after Blow Up Your Video....had all the explosive energy of a wet stick of dynamite
Should have seen the warning signs with "Fly on the Wall" & "Who made Who"
No arguments that their best Live like so many bands of their ilk
At least they're they've got the back catalogue to draw from
cheers

Prince? It was really all over after Lovesexy. Batman was dire.
REM? Monster after AFTP was a step back, only 'Kenneth and final track You really cut it.
U2? Rattle and Hum was their biggest disappointment, though Heartland is something of a lost gem.
Oh, and splitting from Quincy Jones didn't do the world's favourite children's entertainer any good, methinks.
