Gripper was the main bully in the early 80s series. He had a rockabilly quiff. Great character, supposedly living in New Zealand.
Each series had a 'bully' but Gripper remains the best known

I have no idea Steve.
I just remember bumping into her a few years ago and thinking "Fuck me!"
The best days of Grange Hill were from the beginning to the point where the theme tune changed.
I caught a bit of an episode not so long ago and by God, it's turned into a wannabe American teen show.
Load of fucking cockshite but I'm sure that cunt Redmond will be praising it to appear all hip and trendy.
Tucker, Benny, Alan, Gonch, Zammo, his sidekick whose name I have forgotten, Zammos bird, birds brother Robbie who I think was played by that drug taking twat from Londons Burning, Mike Bentley who went on to play a cop in The Bill.

I used to know a girl called Joan Kenny or something like that when I was about 14/15.
She used to be in GH, somebodys sidekick.
I heard that Todd Carty was in a recent episode playing Uncle Tucker to some nephew sprog.

From what I can gather from the accents lately, the school's somehow moved from London to up north!
