We live in a multi-cultural society not an integrated society.

If we lived in an integrated society we might understand each other better instead of having separated areas of cultural division.

The media does nothing but add fuel to the fire and install fear into our lives. However they will not make any money through balance, only with bias and therein lies the problem.

All this talk of W.A.S.P's being intolerent doesn't stand up to scrutiny anyway. The west has always been more tolerent to immigration then the east. Britians always been a land of multi ethnicities at least for the last 4000 years. America has been multi ethnic from the start, though it's not always been either equal or fair co existance admitably.

Conrast that for example to India with the Caste system or Japan which describes itself as a 'mono ethnic' society and has allowed, bar a handful of korean workers treated generally as scum, virtually no immigration from abroad. Why not criticse them?

Yes you could argue that and most likely you'd be right but the way the first world has plundered and continues to plunder developing countries says we are anything but sqeaky clean non-racists

We can believe what we want as we own 80 percent of the Worlds Wealth but only make up 20 percent of the Worlds Population.

Until these figures start changing its very hard to say that Western Secular
Democracies aren't anything but RACIST in the way they use foreign policy
to keep creating more wealth for those that already 'have it all' at the expense of those that have 'bugger all'

There are still thousands of people in this country who still think we live in the 1930's. They buy their copy of the Daily Mail every morning and believe the lies it tells them..all immigrants are scum etc....then disappear down the pub at dinnertime for their half a pint and tell all their friends we are being run over by immigrants. These attitudes are never going to change because these people are usually elderly and stuck in their own ways and have their prejudices that will never change. The only hope is the youngsters growing up today dont believe the bullshit that papers like The Sun and the Mail tell them or that parts of the media likes to feed them then perhaps we will have a far more tolerant and less racist society,and this in turn will lead to more harmony and less hatred in multicultural communities long term, that's the only hope.

Nothing wrong with fascist comments, if you happen to be a Fascist that is. Depends on whether your views are formed from logical thinking or you're just one who blindly runs with the pack. I'm not saying I'm a fascist, but it's everyone's democratic right to be one if that's their desire and they're not just pedalling hate.

The context in which you use the word has nothing to do with true Fascism, but the corruption of the word ... aka hyperbolic political epithet

You mean like the two YOUNG white men who allegedly put an axe in the head of the black youngster the other week.

Or the YOUNG black man who allegedly stabbed a white man to death on the bus for daring to ask him to stop throwing his chips around (which was a racist crime as I doubt he would have stabbed the man if he had been black).

By chance I heard a phone-in program on Asian radio the other week where they were having a real go at the blacks, plus another program on Radio 4 where young jewish men at university in Leeds were few up with being shouted at by Asians everywhere they went with the term Yid.

You may think and hope we are getting less racist in this country, but I think we are getting more racist, from all groups of society.

If the so called Asian community stopped being Asian and started acting British then some of the abuse would stop. Someone who is 4th generation Yorkshire and called Abdul is a Yorkshireman, same as Geoff Boycott, not an Asian. If they want to be called Asian then go an live in the rat infested open sewers that pervale in most of India, Pakistan etc, not my country.

If I stood up in the middle of Tehran and said the Ayatollah Khomeni was a cunt I would be stoned to death. When in Rome............

I am British, work, pay taxes and am loyal to this country. I am a patriot, not a fascist.
